Dear Eric and Hannah,
I greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm Pastor Paulino M. M., leader of the Evangelical Assemblies of God Church Collpani where we welcome 398 children and families. We are located geographically in the area of El Alto city, where we work with the Child Development Center (CDC) attended by Maria.
My gratitude is deepest for knowing that we help us with your supports in favor of a full development in the life of Maria. We always keep in you in the daily prayers.
The center is a landmark for the community because of the care given by the staff and church members, and our congregation by the grace of God is growing, but we still have the challenge to expand the Word of God to those who need it. For this we have plans for opening other churches, in places where people do not even know the Word of God and be a channel of blessing to those lives.
The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few, but we have faith that in a few years we will be a well-formed church, with families of sponsored children fully convinced of the Gospel and serving together our Heavenly Father. The children of the center share at their home what they learn and live each day with their families and they participate in activities that teach their hearts a special message and give them a different view of life from the poverty in which they are submerged.
I firmly believe that the relationship maintained through letters between sponsors and these children is very, very important, because receiving a handwritten letter in a different language, and translated into our language, is an explosion of joy in our children. For them, knowing that someone in another place far away cares and is interested in them, sharing experiences, answering questions, and sending pictures, gives them a reason to stay involved in the church and center, forever grateful and waiting for God to bless this person who does not know personally. But there are some children who feel very sorry when they do not get a letter or message of the one he or she considers a friend at a distance.
I trust that God will always show his gaze on you, who supports Maria so gentle and kindly. I wholeheartedly say that I, the church, and each of the sponsored children will be praying for your life, family, and the daily work carried out, so that everything you do is of great magnitude an will prosper.
Sincerely,
Pastor Paulino M. M.
If you would like to sponsor child from Bolivia, please consider Aaron, who's 2 and who's birthday is December 7th. Isn't he so cute!
Aaron has made it through one of the most vulnerable times in life for a human living in poverty. He made it past his first birthday because of generous givers like you. At this age, having someone to love and take care of him can still mean the difference between life and death. That's why your sponsorship provides for a trained Survival Specialist from his local church to visit him every month at home.
These specialists provide access to much-needed immunizations and medical care, as well as food and water to meet critical physical needs. They also lend emotional and spiritual support to family members committed to caring for him. Your sponsorship allows Aaron a strong, healthy start, early in life when it can have the biggest impact.
