Dear Sponsor,
I greet you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
My name is Reyna S. C., Project Director at the CDC attended by your sponsored child. The center works at the DSA Evangelical Church, located in the southern area of Cochabamba, Bolivia.
We are very thankful to you for sponsoring your child. Sponsorship is a great support and blessing for the children and their families. Thanks to the programs we have implemented, we can give an appropriate teaching based on Christ-centered principles in the four areas of development (physical, spiritual, cognitive and socio-emotional).
In the spiritual area, we formed evangelism groups with children between ages 9 and 11, who share the Gospel in their schools and neighborhoods. I think of a sponsored girl who is 14 years old, who lost her mother 2 years ago and went through a very hard time due to her dad not being able to be with her because of work. She was taken care of by the owner of the house where she lives. The center, together with the church, supported the girl with food supplies, clothing and other urgent needs. Thanks to the efforts made in the areas of development, she is now part of the group of girls who play the tambourine at church; she’s a Sunday school teacher for children between ages 3 and 5, and she’s part of an evangelism group through theater. She is also the best student in her class. It is a joy to see that this girl keeps going forward in spite of the difficulties and the needs she faced. She is a life example.
The children here are very blessed thanks to the gifts their sponsors send. I think of one girl who comes from a low-income family. The father left them, and the mom has to work in different jobs to sustain her family. So the support of her sponsor is a great help.
Each letter that arrives is a reason of joy for the kids, because they can get to know their sponsor better. That way, they can strengthen the communication and the bond between them. Sponsor letters are very encouraging to children and help them strengthen their self-esteem and commitment with school and more.
One of our sponsored boys, who is 16 years old, had never received a letter from his sponsor since the time he registered, and that made him very sad. Thank God, a couple of months ago he received a letter for the first time, which filled him with excitement and joy in his heart. By seeing his reaction we know how important a sponsor’s letter can be.
I’m inspired to work in the center by seeing the change in the lives of our children, the integration of our teenagers into the different ministries in church, and everything that is being accomplished thanks to the prayers and support from each sponsor.
As a Project Director I want to express our gratitude for the support we receive from sponsors toward our children. Thank you again for sponsoring your child. May God bless you abundantly.

In her home, Nicol helps by running errands. She lives with her father and her mother. Her father is sometimes employed and her mother maintains the home. There are 3 children in the family.
